TRAIN 2006 Conference – November 3 & 4

The TRAIN 2006 Conference is now over. We trust and pray that you found encouragement in the Lord, and that you will continue to build up the body of Christ in your ministry area.

A Message from the Chair

While standing in line at the grocery store checkouts these days, we find ourselves surrounded by magazines promoting the "Body Beautiful." Look a little deeper, and much of the beauty on display turns out to be an illusion, not reality.

At TRAIN 2006, we're interested in building the "Body Beautiful" in a much more lasting and significant manner. I'm speaking, of course, of the Body of Christ. We're taking seriously Paul's instruction to the Thessalonian church to "encourage one another and build each other up." And we want to be part of seeing Christ's body transformed into His glorious bride – without spot or wrinkle.

Our body building workout aims at strengthening three distinct areas:

your own individual life in Christ;
your local church home; and
the Body of Christ in Calgary and surrounding area.

To that end, we've made a few changes to the format of TRAIN this year. You'll want to pay close attention to the details located throughout this website. Please read the TRAIN 2006 Conference and Registration pages carefully. We want every part of TRAIN Conference to be a reality for you and not just an illusion!

We pray that your heart will be encouraged and your team strengthened. May you be blessed as you interact with others and catch a glimpse of the great work God is doing across our region.

Promotional Materials

Here are some things that you can use to let your colleagues, staff, team or friends know about the TRAIN 2006 Conference:

Handbill (560 KB) – an attention-getter that reminds people that the conference is coming soon. It fits nicely in mailboxes.
Website Link Icons (11.7 KB) – a collection of specially-designed images that you can use to link your website to the TRAIN website and let your visitors know about the TRAIN Conference. Simple instructions are included for the non-technically-inclined. Also, if your church or organization will be sending people to the conference then we'd be happy to link to its website as well.
Poster (1059 KB) – hang this on a bulletin board for all to see. It's been designed to be printed on 8.5"x11" paper.
Brochure (1081 KB) – a complete information source for those without access to this website. It contains details on various aspects of the conference, a table of seminars and their descriptions, and a registration form. It's been designed to be printed double-sided on 17"x22" paper (make sure that the registration form backs onto the blank panel).
