Randy Carter has a passion for student ministry – in fact, he says, "Why would anyone choose to work with adults when they can work with students?"
Randy has been involved in youth work since 1979, eleven years of which he served as a youth pastor with the Christian and Missionary Alliance in Western Canada. Since July 1994, Randy has been involved as an itinerant youth speaker and a youth ministry consultant with Straight Talk Ministries.
Randy's unique blend of humour and direct approach to truth allows him to captivate the listener and drive home the truth in a relevant and meaningful way. Randy has spoken throughout Canada as well as in the United States and even as far as Malaysia. Randy lives in Calgary with his wife Donna and two daughters Kendall & Kevann.
Christian Publications Bookstore, along with publishers and curriculum representatives, have chosen a targeted selection of materials for you to peruse and purchase to enhance your ministry in practical ways! ...and many more!
Come for an evening especially for teenage young people led by Robin Johnson with the AUC (Alliance University College) Worship Band. For youth ministers and youth sponsors, this is a great way to introduce your teen youth group leaders to TRAIN and the opportunities that are available throughout the weekend for spiritual growth and to become equipped for all kinds of exciting ministries.
Students may attend this evening alone or as a youth group event (a $5.00 door charge applies). Those planning to attend other TRAIN sessions are encouraged to register in advance to receive a special student discount rate of $40.00 for the entire weekend.
Youth Ministers and Sponsors may attend this evening free of charge when accompanying students. Student rates apply for youth sponsors who register for the entire TRAIN Conference.
